We cannot imagine Digital signal processing without FFT. Normally throughput less than gigabits/sec is not applicable in real time high speed signal processing. Spectrum analyzer should process the data frames in extremely high speed so we require the processor with heavy pipelining and Parallel processing so, FPGAs are the most reliable and efficient processors for high speed computation.
